We have a soft spot for brands that are pioneers in their field. Goods of Desire, or short for G.O.D., started in Hong Kong 17 years ago to bring fun and desirable lifestyle products that are inspired by Hong Kong’s past. Beyond the colorful and captivating exterior on each product, we love that every piece tells a story – whether it’s a print referencing old mailboxes or a traditional design presented in a new way. G.O.D. also collaborated with Starbucks to create the world’s first “Bing Sutt corner” (a teahouse in old Hong Kong) at the Starbucks on Duddell Street as well as in Mongkok. We love that G.O.D. is much more than a brand. It tries to preserve the spirit of Hong Kong in a way that no other retail company has done before.
